1. Acceptance of Terms
By using the FaSoSoLa Music School app (the "App"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
The App is a private app operated by Fasosola Music School Pte. Ltd. ("we", "our", "us") for the parents/guardians, teachers and staff of FaSoSoLa Music School in Singapore, covering lessons at our Clementi studio and home lessons with our tutors. Teachers record lesson feedback, progress notes and photos; parents/guardians view their own child's records and lesson schedules; and parents, teachers and the school communicate through in-app messages. Students do not use the App or have accounts.
3. Accounts
Accounts are created by the school for enrolled families, teachers and staff. You must keep your login details private and are responsible for activity under your account. Please tell us immediately at fasosolams@gmail.com if you believe your account has been used without your permission. We may suspend or close an account when a student is no longer enrolled, a teacher no longer works with the school, or these Terms are breached.
4. Content in the App
Teachers are responsible for the lesson feedback, notes, photos and video links they post, and must follow the school's guidelines (including not showing other students' faces). Parents/guardians, teachers and staff must use messages respectfully and only for matters relating to lessons and the school. Content must not be unlawful, harassing, defamatory or otherwise inappropriate. We may remove content that breaks these Terms.
5. Prohibited Conduct
You must not:
- share another family's or student's information outside the App;
- try to access information that is not meant for you;
- interfere with, reverse-engineer or disrupt the App; or
- use the App for any unlawful purpose.
6. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect personal data in line with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA). By using the App, you acknowledge our Privacy Policy.
7. Intellectual Property
The App, its design and the school's materials belong to Fasosola Music School Pte. Ltd. or its licensors. You may use the App only for purposes relating to lessons with FaSoSoLa Music School.
8. Fees
The App is free to use. Tuition fees and other school charges are governed by the school's separate enrolment terms and are not paid through the App.
9. Disclaimer
We aim to keep the App available and accurate, but it is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that the App will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Fasosola Music School Pte. Ltd. is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the App. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Singapore law.
11. Account Deletion
You may request deletion of your account and data at any time by emailing fasosolams@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.
12. Apple and Google
These Terms are between you and Fasosola Music School Pte. Ltd., not Apple or Google. Apple and Google are not responsible for the App or its content and have no obligation to provide support for it. Your use of the App must also comply with the terms of the app store you downloaded it from.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new effective date.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
